Will I receive a certificate of completion from the installer/ electrician?

NSW - After completion of solar panel installation work, a licensed electrician must check that your system is safe and provide you with a Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work (CCEW).
VIC - The Certificate of Electrical Safety (CES) will be filled out by the Registered Electrical Contractor who connected the wiring for your solar PV installation to your switchboard. Once the CES is completed, the Registered Electrical Contractor is required to organise for an independent electrical inspection of the installation to take place using a Licenced Electrical Inspector, before the system can be connected to the electricity supply. WA - The electrical contractor must give you an Electrical Safety Certificate to state the installation is complete, has been tested and is safe
SA - Your licensed tradesperson must give you an electrical certificate of compliance within thirty days of finishing the electrical job, or within seven days of finishing the plumbing job.
ACT – electrician must submit a Certificate of Electrical Safety (CES) form within 14 days of the work to Access Canberra.
NT - a FM166 Certificate of Compliance must be issued.
TAS - the certificate of electrical compliance (CEC) must be issued which replaced the electrical installation notice (EIN) in 2012.
QLD - a Testing and Compliance Certificate is required for electrical installations.
