What is the daily supply charge on my energy bill?

Your daily supply charge is the fixed rate you get charged each day for being connected to the grid. Any energy usage is additional to this charge.

For example, if your daily supply charge was 90c per day, and you used $5.00 worth of energy, your total bill for the day would be $5.90

An example for gas. Energy Australia have a different gas supply charge depending on what PLAN you are on:
  1. No Frills Plan supply charge is 66 cents per day
  2. Total Plan supply charge is 64 cents per day
Prices current October 2020.
