What is an integrated downlight?

If you have halogen downlights, it’s best to remove both the transformer and the globe and replace them with an integrated downlight.

Removing the transformer means you can then top up your ceiling insulation to fill any gaps, making the insulation much more effective.

Please note, only IC (insulation contact) rated downlights can be safely covered by insulation. Look for the following label. An electrician will help advise with this and install.
