What do I do if a resident looking for energy advice is not serviceable?

The Australian Energy Foundation works with a number of councils and partner organizations that subscribe to our services, to help residents become more comfortable and energy efficient in their homes, and to help progress Australian communities toward a zero-carbon energy future. While your LGA, (insert LGA), does not partner with us at this stage, I can offer you the following options in answer to your query:
  1. From our website, you can download a number of comprehensive, unbiaised guides, ranging from heating and cooling, to insulation, hot water, solar panels and batteries. These are highly practical documents that can be very useful in your decision-making.  These can be found at aef.com.au.
  2. The following link contains useful information in regards to energy in general and understanding your bills: https://www.aef.com.au/resources/energy-for-everyday-people/
  3. We also offer a membership service, which provides unlimited access to our services, including 20 min phone consultations with an energy advisor and access to the energy advice phone line anytime from 9am-5pm on weekdays. This costs $70 p/a (https://www.aef.com.au/about-us/become-an-aef-member/).
  4. If and when you decide to make some changes in the home, we can refer you to our  high quality, reliable and trusted suppliers (you don't have to be a member to receive this service). We work  with reputable businesses whose values align with our own and conduct a thorough vetting process to ensure products and services offered are of an adequate standard. Please find more information on the following link: https://www.aef.com.au/for-home/our-suppliers/.
Please don't hesitate to reply to this email for further clarification.
